This idea has gone and got my french pleat in a knot. I love collecting cheese stuff – tiny articles of woolly clothing dressing my cheese would be a welcome addition to my fromage étiquette collection. Although far from being a MAP solution to export, I agree with Monica that the the woolly wrapping would help keep the product & quality intact – for a bit anyways. Is there a place for thermo-hygrometric cheese fashion?
